The “Heritage Village Harvest Festival” will be held Friday & Saturday, September 17 & 18, at the Sioux Center Fairgrounds.  Visit historical buildings and participate in a number of activities.  Maid Rites and Root Beer Floats will be sold both days. 

The Sioux Center Christian School Carnival will run from Noon – 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 18.  Activities will be held in the gym in case of bad weather.

Christian comedian Jeff Allen will be performing at 7:30 PM on Saturday, September 18, Dordt College's B.J. Haan Auditorium. Jeff's comedy drives home the humor in everyday family life and the joy derived from a healthy marriage. Advance tickets are $12 ($10 for groups of 10 or more).  Tickets at the door will be $15. The Dordt College Business Club will host a Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 18, at Sioux Center's Ridge Golf Club.  A pancake breakfast will be served at 8:00 AM, with the shotgun start at 9:00 AM. The Orange City Dover Avenue Christian & Missionary Alliance Church is hosting a live simulcast of Beth More’s “Living Proof” Seminar from 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 18.  Tickets are $20 and are advance-purchase only at True Vine Bookstore, Dove Bookstore or Dover Church.  Lunch is included.
