- Sioux Center Christian School Book Fair
Sioux Center Christian School Guild is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in the school library. The Book Fair will run Thursday, December 2, from 1:00 – 7:00 PM, and Friday, December 3 from 11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Proceeds directly toward more classroom books.
- Dordt Students' Artwork Sale
Dordt College Art students will have their works available for purchase at the Sioux Center Centre Mall Thursday, December 2 through Saturday, December 4. Available will be ceramics, drawings, prints, photos, and other artwork.
- Dordt College Mission rip Soup Supper -- 5:00 PM
A soup supper to benefit Dordt College student mission trips will be served from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Friday, December 3, in Dordt College’s West Commons. Donations of pie are appreciated and can be made by contacting Evonne Sirois (sih-roh-iss) at vnnsrs@dordt.edu or 722-6668.
- Maurice "Tour of Lights" -- 6:00 PM
The Annual Maurice “Tour of Lights” will take place from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, December 3. Free beverages & goodies will be available at the Community Center. Donations of non-perishable food items for the Food Pantry and baby items for Bethany will be accepted.
- “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” Performance -- 7:00 PM
“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” will be presented December 3 – 5 at the Sheldon Bethel Reformed Church. Friday & Saturday performances will be at 7:00 PM and the Sunday performance will be at 2:30 PM. Suggested donation is $5 per ticket, with proceeds donated to Upper Des Moines Opportunity. Tickets will be available at Dave’s Appliance in downtown Sheldon beginning November 23. Call 324-2419 for more information.
- Campus-Community Band and Jazz Band Concert -- 7:30 PM
The Dordt College Campus-Community Band and Jazz Band will be performing at 7:30 PM on Friday, December 3, in the B.J. Haan Auditorium.
- "The Arkansaw Bear" Performance -- 7:30 PM
“The Arkansaw Bear”, a children’s play, will be performed at 7:30 PM December 3 & 4 at the Dordt College New World Theatre. Tickets are $2 for children and $3 for adults. They can be purchased at the door, or at www.DordtTickets.com
