- Hawarden CRC Chicken and Pizza Supper -- 5:00 PM
The Hawarden Christian Reformed Church will host a supper on Friday, November 6 from 5:00-7:30 PM. Pizza Ranch chicken and pizza along with home-made salads and desserts will be served. Carry outs available. Cost is $8 for adults, $5.50 for Children 6-12, Children under 5 eat free. All proceeds will benefit Christian Education.

Katelyn’s Fund orphan ministry is hosting an auction at the New Life Reformed Church in Sioux Center on Friday, November 6 at 7:00 PM. Doors open at 6:15. Nearly 200 items including one of a kind and collectable items will be featured. Proceeds will be used to assist parents with adoption costs.

Ed Lotterman will present two lectures at the Dordt College science building lecture hall S101. On Thursday November 5 at 7 PM his topic will be “The Financial Debacle of 2007-present”, followed by a presentation on Friday November 6 at 11 AM on “National Saving Rates and the Baby Boom Retirement.”
- Boston Camerata Performance -- 7:30 PM
A performance by the Boston Camerata will be held at 7:30 PM on Friday, November 6, in the Dordt College BJ Haan Auditorium. Included will be Genevan psalms and psalm-based music from the Reformation era.
- Symphony of Psalms -- 7:30 PM
"A Symphony of Psalms," will be presented by the Boston Camerata on Friday November 6, at 7:30 PM at the Dordt College B.J. Haan Auditorium. This international touring ensemble will present psalm-based music from the Reformation Era. Dordt choirs will also participate in the program. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved by calling 712-722-6222.
- Bethany Christian Services Fall Conference -- 8:30 AM
The Bethany Christian Services' Fall Conference entitled “Issues of Attachment and Bonding" will be held Friday, November 6, at the Orange City Trinity Reformed Church. This educational conference for parents and professionals begins with registration at 8:30 AM and runs until 4:00 PM. Keynote speaker is Ron Nydam.
