- “Theory of Mind” Presentation -- 11:00 AM
Mixed Blood Theatre Company will present “Theory of Mind” at Dordt College's BJ Haan Auditorium at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 26. This free 45-minute performance is a sensitive theatrical portrait of a young man with Asperger's Syndrome, an autism disorder.
- “The Association for the Fight Against Poverty” Tip Night -- 5:00 PM
On Monday, October 26, a Sioux Center Pizza Ranch Tip Night will be held for “The Association for the Fight Against Poverty”, a mission and agricultural organization in Africa lead by former Dordt student Dea Lieu (dee-uh lee-uh).
- Ireton CRC Soup Supper -- 5:30 PM
The Ireton Christian Reformed Church will hold a Soup Supper on Monday, October 26. Serving will be from 5:30 – 7:30 PM. A freewill donation will be accepted to support the Christian Education Fund.
- Greater Sioux County Genealogical Society Meeting -- 7:00 PM
The Greater Sioux County Genealogical Society will meet at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 26, at the Sioux Center Public Library. The program will be a DVD by Philip Gantz, a Holocaust survivor. Refreshments will be potluck with members bringing an item to share with the group. Guests are welcome to attend!
