- "Christian Perspective on Immigration in Northwest Iowa" -- 6:30 PM
An on-going discipleship series entitled “Christian Perspective on Immigration in Northwest Iowa” is being held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00 PM at the Orange City American Reformed Church. The topic of the October 19 session is “Immigration and Law Enforcement” – the challenges facing local law enforcement officers.
- "Understanding Islam since 9/11" Presentation -- 7:00 PM
Dave DeVries, who has lived and worked among Islamic people for 15 years, will lecture at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 19, in the Dordt College Science Center classroom S101. His presentation is entitled “Coming Face to Face – Understanding our Encounters with Islam since 9/11.”
