- Village Northwest Benefit Auction -- 6:30 PM
The Village Northwest Unlimited Gala Benefit will be held on Saturday, October 8, in the Wansink Center gym. The Silent Auction, and serving of appetizers, will begin at 6:30 PM. The oral auction will get underway at 7:00 PM. An on-line Auction will run through Friday, October 7, and can be accessed at www.cmarket.com/villagenorthwest.
- Sanford Museum Aniversary Celebration -- 7:00 PM
The Sanford Museum in Cherokee will celebrate their 60th Anniversary at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 8. Free admission, refreshments served.
- "Understanding Immigration" Conference -- 9:00 AM
A conference entitled “Understanding Immigration: Lessons Learned From Communities in Iowa” will be held from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM on Saturday, October 8, at the Sioux Center New Life Reformed Church. Cost of $15 includes lunch. Go to CasaSiouxCounty.org to register by October 5.
