- Dordt College's Alumni Weekend
Dordt College's Alumni Weekend will be Friday and Saturday, September 11 & 12. A Distinguished Alumni Banquet will be held Friday evening honoring Kevin De Vries, Ronald Blankespoor and Chris Teeuwsen (two-son). Saturday’s activities include an alumni vs. varsity team baseball game, a kid's carnival, a football game, a soccer game and a lacrosse match. - Hull Christian School Rally Day Sale & Supper
The Hull Christian School Rally Day Sale and Supper will be held on Saturday, September 12. The meal will be served from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. The sale will begin at 6:30 PM.
- THEOS Time of Support -- 6:00 PM
THEOS, a time of support, encouragement, and interaction for widowed men and women, will meet at 6:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, at the Sioux Center Family Table, followed by a meeting at 7:30 at the First Reformed Church.
- Artist Reception -- 6:30 PM
An artist reception for Professor Jacob Van Wyk, whose work is currently featured at Dordt College's Campus Center Art Gallery, will be held at 6:30 PM on Saturday, September 12. Van Wyk will discuss his work at 7:00 PM.
- Ken Davis in Concert -- 7:00 PM
Christian Comedian Ken Davis is coming to Dordt College BJ Haan Auditorium at 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 12. Advance tickets are $15, or $12 for groups of 10 or more. - Sioux Center Kiwanis Golf Tournament -- 8:00 AM
The Sioux Center Kiwanis is hosting a 4-man Best-Ball 18-hole golf tournament on Saturday, September 12, at The Ridge Golf Club. Shot-gun start will be at 8:00 AM. Entry fee is $60 per person, which includes lunch. Register by September 9 by calling Brad at 441-6564, or e-mailing him at Brad@GreatPlainsInc.com. Proceeds will benefit the youth of the community.
