- Candidate Rob Hubler Town Hall Meeting -- 4:30 PM
5th District Democratic Congressional Candidate, Rob Hubler, will conduct a town hall meeting on Monday, September 8 at 4:30 PM in the Dordt College Classroom Building room CL160. Hubler is running against incumbent 5th District Representative Steve King in the upcoming November election. This town hall meeting is being sponsored by the Dordt College Non-Partisan Politics Club and the public is invited to attend.
- “Brass in Blue” Concert -- 7:00 PM
“Brass in Blue”, a pioneering symphonic brass ensemble presented by the U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Band, will present a concert at the Northwestern Christ Chapel on Monday, September 8, at 7:00 PM. Admission is free, but concert-goers are asked to obtain tickets in advance from Orange City Town Hall or Dove Bookstore.
- Prepared Childbirth Class -- 7:00 PM
The Sioux Center Community Hospital is holding a 6-week Prepared Childbirth Class. The first class meets on Monday, September 8, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. The cost is $40 with book. Please call 722-8134 to register.
