Village Northwest Unlimited in Sheldon will hold an Independence Day celebration on Friday, July 2. The Food Stand will open at 5:30 PM. Music, activities, wagon rides, a petting zoo and much more will be available throughout the evening. The evening will be concluded with a fireworks display.

“Music on the Blacktop”, a free concert, will take place at 6:30 PM this Sunday at the Grace Lutheran Church in Luverne, MN. “Awakening”, “Boiling Point” and “Shasta Blvd.” will play. Ice cream sundaes will be served. Bring a lawn chair and an ice cream topping to share. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Ice Arena.
