    A “Wellness on Wheels” bike ride will be held the morning of Saturday, June 4, in Sioux Center. Featured is a six-mile Family Fun Ride all within the town of Sioux Center. More experienced riders can tackle 30- and 50-mile routes that will extend to surrounding towns. The fee is $20 per person or $35 for families. Riders can pre-register on-line at AllSportsCentral.com or can call the Greater Sioux Community Health Center at 722-1700.

  • Wee Care Family Fair Pool Extravaganza -- 1:00 PM
    The Sioux Center Community Hospital will hold a Wee Care Family Fair Pool Extravaganza on Saturday, June 4, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Sioux Center All Seasons Center. Admission is free.

  • Village Northwest "Run, Walk & Roll" Benefit -- 8:00 AM
    Village Northwest Unlimited of Sheldon will host a Run, Walk & Roll benefit on Saturday, June 4, beginning at 8:00 AM. Included is a 5K race, 10K race and a 1 mile walk/roll.   • Kiwanis Golf Tournament -- 8:00 AM
    The Sioux Center Kiwanis Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 4, at the Sioux Center Ridge Golf Course. Cost is $60 per person, which includes a breakfast sandwich and beverage.     The ISU Northwest Iowa Farm Field Day will be held on Wednesday, June 29, at the Research Farm located south of Calumet. The day begins at 9:30 AM, following registration and coffee.
