- Pastor John Van Sloten Presentations
Pastor John Van Sloten, from Calgary, Alberta, will speak at Dordt College on February 16 & 17. On Wednesday, February 16, he will speak at 11:00 AM in the BJ Haan Auditorium, sharing his experience of having the heavy metal band “Metallica” attend a worship service in his church. On Thursday, February 17, he will speak at 7:00 PM in Science Building room S101 on the topic “Engaging Culture: Knowing and Understanding Your Kids’ Pop Culture”.
- “Heart to Heart”Fund Raiser -- 6:00 PM
“Heart to Heart”, a fund raiser for the Sioux County Heart Walk, will be held at the Sioux Center Corporate Center on Thursday, February 17. Punch will be served at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and entertainment. Tickets are $15 each or 2 for $25. Call 722-8333 by February 11 to make reservations.
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR Class -- 6:30 PM
The Sioux Center Community Hospital is holding a Pediatric First Aid/CPR Class on Thursday, February 17, from 6:30 – 10:00 PM. Cost is $55. Please call 722-8228 to register.
- ATLAS Time of Prayer -- 7:00 PM
The ATLAS time of prayer for the community will be held from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Thursday, February 17, at the Maurice 1st Reformed Church (NOTE CHANGE OF LOCATION). Prayer focus will be YATEC. Please come and go as your schedule allows.
